We were a week or so into summer as we shot these portraits. I expected to be turned around by snow before we reached the summit, but damn, I did not expect THIS much snow!
Nonetheless, the snow made for an awesome backdrop! Zoa Peak is along the Coquihalla Highway and is mainly used in the winter for snowshoeing. Because of that, I figured we wouldn’t run into too many people along the trail, so shooting some nude portraits wouldn’t be a problem. It was even better than we expected, because there were ZERO other people on the trail! (But we’re not gonna talk about all the mosquitoes, and where our model was getting bitten, right?!)
